  • Ferris Wheel

    Stacey Marriott

    language (, July 2, 2016)
I’m standing in a hallway, right in front of me is the creepiest thing I have ever laid my eyes on. This creature has human looking skin. Its veins are bulging from underneath it, black eyes and a huge drooping head. With long fingernails and razor sharp teeth. The way it looks isn’t even what makes my skin crawl. It's the constant clicking noise that it is making. I try to figure out where I am exactly. Judging by the sound of beeping I hear in the distance, it seems as though it might be a hospital of some sort. I notice that the creature is staring right at me, with its huge black eyes and razor sharp teeth. Even though it’s staring directly at me I can tell it can't see me. It stands there clicking and rubbing its fingernails together. My heart is beating so fast; it feels as though it is going to burst out of my chest. I’m trying to think fast, to come up with some kind of plan. But before I can I hear the sound of tennis shoes scuffing against the floor. Coming from the opposite end of the hallway. The creature hears it too. I look to see a boy about the same age as me standing behind the creature.
